If one rainbow is lucky, two is something else entirely. This frame caught a double rainbow settling over the same kind of weathered island fence line — the bright primary arch with its fainter twin echoing above it. Double rainbows appear when sunlight reflects twice inside the raindrops, and they never last long. I fired off frames as fast as I could while both arches held.
A double rainbow is genuinely rare — most people go years without seeing one. Catching both arches over a classic island fence, with the colors at full strength, is the kind of luck photographers dream about.
Two Arches: The primary rainbow plus its fainter secondary twin, both visible.
Vivid Color: Full-spectrum color at peak brightness before the light faded.
Rustic Foreground: The weathered fence grounds the sky drama in island reality.
Bring this double dose of luck into your home — two rainbows over the Hawaiian countryside.
